WP Avocado Green Fridge/Freezer & Upright Freezer

We had a Whirlpool upright freezer like that, except in White. The door was a textured finish steel that was popular at the time. It was purchased at Swallen's in the Summer of 1974. My sister took it when my dad moved up to their place, and it was used until it stopped working around 2015.
My neighbors the Wilson's had a slightly older one in Avocado until about 5 years ago.

My mom's '75 Coldspot SxS had the same handles as the pictured upright freezer. The grip area on the handles was so ridiculously low (see picture in the ad) that my dad was certain they had been installed upside down. That was not the case, but a Sears tech did come out and flip them around under warranty. I don't know what Whirlpool was thinking with that design.
