The Whirlpool "Woody" models...

...came in Avocado, Coppertone & White...

"WOOD" be neat if it were offered in some "metallic" colors, though... ("WOODEN", it????)

I am just finishing a restoration on a Maytag 806 set in Avocado, and the colour is really growing on me. I used to hate it, but now I find myself becoming an Avocado Aficionado!

I still hate Harvest Gold though....

FYI everyone -

I am fairly sure there is another Mark XII machine in white in Kenny/Goatfarmer's post about the $25 gold Maytag. He shows several other Craigslist ads, including one for a $95 Whirlpool. I'd say that one is either from a year before or the year after these. No Estate Wagon accents on it.
