I was going to joke 40's, 30's, or 20's, but then I saw the model number 110, 45, I think that's a 4, so it's from 1945. I mention the 20's because it reminds me of the Maytags from that decade.
How's the Lady K copper doing? Would love to see the Roto-flex making tornadoes at low water levels,
Just saw the money shot. Look at how modern the agitator looks, almost a Variflex prototype the way the fins extend round/square beyond the plate, 4- finned though. Amazing. So many surprises out there. Thanks for an unusual wringer treat.
Well with that smaller wringer head my guess would be mid 30's. Late 30's the heads got bigger, and by the early 40's wringers were already taking on a "Chubby" appearance overall, with encased tubs. Just my though on it. Wonder what the original color was?
We've learned that in any Kenmore washer, the first two numbers following the 110, represent the year of production. The machine Andy linked has a photo of the ID plate: 110. 4500; thus this baby's birth date is 1945. If there are exceptions to this rule, I do not know--or if early wringers were coded differently.
