Looks like an offering from a Canadian manufacturer, or at least was sold up north.
Say this because Canada like UK and some parts of Europe were big on wringer washers in square outer cabinets.

I believe it's a Marquette. Somewhere in my files I have an ad for an older model from the 1940's. This one looks like it's from the late '50's. It's an American brand.
Yep. It's a Marquette. Funny but I never thought this style was sold in the US - it looks very much like a Bélanger model that was sold up here. I now think the Bélanger was in fact a Marquette...

I remember seeing that style of wringer washer maybe in Western Auto offerings and some Monkey Wards catalogs. The lint filter looks similar to those seen in WA machines. MW used to have lots of strange laundry appliances from various manufacturers to be able to offer small, niche appliances for apartments like Monitor washers and those small 120 volt dryers with no door. Some of these square cabinet wringer machines had provision for storing the wringer inside to give a flat top when the machine was not in use.
