I'm creating a different thread tonight. We all watched The Flintstones, and saw their "stone-age" equivilent to the 20th Century, with celebrities and such (Ann Margrock, Gary Granite, Jimmy Darrock, etc.) What if they had their versions of appliance makes? Yes, we saw different versions of their washing machines. One was a pelican, and another was a monkey using a washboard. But let's name some makes. Here's what I think they would come up with
Mayslag
Whirlpuddle
Kenmosaur
General Electrock
Westingcave
Cobblenator
Frigidicebox
Gorge
Easy Peazy
McRock & Edistone
Hotfoot
Dino-Thor
Benstix
Hamilstone
and Blackstone - no name change necessary here
If anybody has any other names, let's see them. Let's have some fun:

I think you have too much time on your hands
You are on the right track, however- keep it up! This one took some work and creativity

Ingliscanada, welcome to AW.org. Please keep in mind, when you post to select the correct forum. This topic would be more appropriate for super. The reason is Imperial and Deluxe are archived, The super forum is not. We all try to save Robert's money it's his site. Imperial is for discussion of vintage machines, Deluxe for more "modern" machines, Super is what was once called the sandbox and its for all of our off topic discussions. Follow the "guide" when you "create" a thread, and you will end up in the correct forum. No disrespect intended, just follow the guide. alr2903

No offence taken. I am aware of how the system works, it was just an error of judgement on my part. I thought the topic would fit the Imperial section, since the names were all of vintage makes.

You're right; at the present time I have a lot of free time. I've been off work for 3 weeks with H1N1, so I now have extra time to have fun;)
