Same with me give him "swap shop" price for it-not $2000.and its not old enough to be an "antique"Rect pic tube on TV-would be 60's vintage.Would be a nice unit-and cable channels won't work on that TV-it doesn't have a tuner for cable channels.Did he try it with an antenna?

you could hook up a cable box to it and would be able to get the cable channels then. But either way that is way too much money. even at $200 I would think that is too much. I have a nice RCA color console tv that I picked up for 40.oo
