It's currently 39° here. On the news this morning, snow and sleet were reported in College Station (about 60 miles from here) as well.

Sleet here

We had sleet here this morning very rare for Louisiana

Skip...

By the way it is very cold here as well 33 I think

ooooh Mother Nature is MIGHTY pissed-off at what we do to he

oh darling that is just G-d's dandruff from showering and combing his hair after Passover, preparing for Easter. Wait till you see what happens when he prepares for Ramadan.

Weather is horrible here the last few days. Today really sucks, cold, windy, and light snow. One of those days that I call this the "Mid-Worst" Guess I am not alone here though....
Making use of a bad weather day by doing the spring cleaning around here.... (YUK!)

It's been snowing on and off here for 3 days only because I fertilized the lawn on Tuesday and right in time to ruin the blooming of the hundreds of daffodils and tulips in the yard. At least I hope they're not ruined and they just went dormant.

It's cold today in Florida! Woke up to 50 degrees this morning.

Bob, that's just a good excuse to stay in a do some Bob loads!! Let's see some pictures!!

Cold, rainy, and a little sleet here in Port Arthur on the Gulf Coast.

Glad I did yard work yesterday, was trying to work on my cars, got as far as an oil change when the rain hit. I was wanting to chain down the engine in the '68 Galaxie and work on the '58 Buick and '77 Ford truck. Oh well, I'll do all of that after my upcoming vacation.

Well Boyz..here in Victoria BC...was 71 Deg F ..hot and sunny! Today was 61, some overcast and light rain. I was out in the ocean for a 2.5 hour paddle - shirtless and sweating ;)

Sorry to brag...global warming has its benefit in the North..

Bob, like Skip we had sleet way down here too. Startled me a little bit, I am not accustomed to the sound of sleet in this house, that muffled popping, at first I thought the house had caught on fire. Thankfully the joke was on me. After that little adrenaline rush, i took a nice Saturday nap, 10 pm news said it was enough sleet/rain to snarl up traffic.

This weather is getting so depressing. I've been hibernating in the house for almost 3 days. Each day the weather network shows it warming up in a day and now it's fallen back to Monday and then we're supposed to have rain for a few days grrrrrr. It's not even the cold so much its the gray skies, I want sun

Well, we had 5 inches of snow on Saturday. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event for april 'round these here parts. I was without electricity for 23 hours and 15 minutes, it came on about 10 minutes ago and the aux heat on the heat pump is churning away, it was 56 in here brr.

So Bryan we trumped West Texas

With our 5 inches of snow!! I am very grateful I dind't have trees topple over. That caused major power outtages. 10,000 were without power. I am glad I wasn't in bed when the power came on, the warning buzzer for the chest freezer in the laundry room was buzzing when the power came on. I was sitting in the breakfast room. Scared the bjeepers out of me. I couldn't imagine waht what going on in the laundry room, the washer was unplugged.

I detected a giggle in that yeesh Scott!!! Sitting there all warm and toasty for now. Well mark my words well, there's gonna be plenty of California calamities soon enough and you'll be getting yeeshed back in spades mister LOL

We had freezing rain here in Raleigh (over off Milbrook and Glenwood, Tovilac).. Our furnace broke and is not working right, so its either running non stop or not working peroid. Ranging from near 100 deg. in the apart. t around 55 or so... Mantimce tried fixing it for 6 hours friday to no avail. They will return tommrow with heating contractors and replace the thing i hope... Ughhh SO we've lived with out heat scince thursday night...

Its trying...

to snow in Chicago this morning too!

They are threatening warmer weather for the weekend, we shall see!
