YAY for Estate Sales

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well here are all but one of my many bargains from today's sales. A nice full unopened bottle of 1957 Wisk, plus some nice pink napkins for all those "Smart Luncheons" I throw and of course some Shina Dish to clean up afterwards <br
Oh and I know what you all are thinking right about now, why the heck would he post all of this in the Imperial Forum? Has he lost it? Well if you can keep a secret that's because I need to return to one of the estate sales tomorrow morning with my Escalara Motorized Hand Truck to remove something I bought for $10 out of the basement. I'd go back now but we are going to a dinner party so it will have to wait until the morning <br
Shhhhhhh just between us, it's pink ; <br
More to come.

Robert~

how exciting! you always find the best vintage stuff at those estate sales!! I NEVER find vintage detergent at any estate sales I have been to down here.
Do you regularly use your vintage detergent? Is the performance of the detergent quite the same considering it's age?

Lastly, I know you love "Bewitched" as much as I do. I think when you have a "wash-in" in the future, we should also have a "Bewitched" night.

What ya think? I will help do the cooking!

Hope it is something very cool! Well.... I just KNOW it must be! <:

Hi Robert. I remember that Wisk. Hanging out at the local laundromat with Philco Bendix front loaders and people using Wisk. The suds overcame the machine in less than a minute.
A little fabric softener saved the day.

Oh Robert, Can't wait to see what you have found now!!! When is your next "smart luncheon" I want to be sure and put it on my calendar!!

We Love Estate Sales

The Estate sales in the Twin Cities are the best. People there have huge houses and never throw anything away. There are no such sales here on Maui. We shipped home 4 boxes of estate sale goodies after our last visit to Minnesota.

I too so wish to be a "Beauty Operator" when I grow up. (where did they come up with these names?)

luv the baby bottle of Fresh start. I wonder what the expiration date is on the coupons?

I am just so getting into the pastels of the 50s and 60s. pink, turquoise, baby blue, sunny yellow.

Great finds Robert.

***Tapping foot***

It's 11:43AM EST, Which means that it's 10:43AM CST. More than enough time if you ask me to get the Escalara, drive to the estate sale, pick up the thing pink, return home, take pictures and satiate our curiousity.

:)

Wa-helll Freddy baby...

Don't ja know, impatience.

It's Sunday. I'm sure Robert has been side tracked with other sales and maybe a brunch. And lets not forget about the hangover from last nights "dinner party" (group sex orgy).
Be patient.
Wait until at least noon, mr. Ants-in-the-pants.

LOL Fred you are too cute, after all I needed my beauty rest and then lots of Sunbeam CoffeeMaster coffee first. ;)

I'm home YAY with Ms. Pretty in Pink...
