And here it is in my kitchen!! The other picture shows the model this one “replaced”, although we’ll switch them out again soon enough. They are both 1954 models, RT-38.
This “new” one is in excellent condition. Everything works, which is great. Even the clock works, although it’s a big sluggish and just about ready to give up the ghost.
We had a great time on our trip to Cincinnati, and we enjoyed the little antique mall where the stove was located, the Flamingo Haven Antique Mall.
Congrats on getting the stove! I don't often see this size available, especially in something other than white. As partial as I am to turquoise, I think I like the yellow in your kitchen better, but they are both lovely! Will you be rotating between the yellow and blue?
Nice.. there's a white one at our local Restore right now and they're asking $400 for it.. first time I've ever seen them price anything so high.. I doubt it will sell at that price but you never know..
You are quite welcome. I am always looking on Craigslist and Marketplace (far too much), and I like to forward some of the more unique items. While I am partial to GE, I love this style of Frigidaire. BTW, are you anywhere near Gainesville?
It and the Sherwood Green one are both very nice ranges.
I've never been to the Flamingo Haven, though I usually go down Spring Grove Ave. past Mitchell several times a week. I'll have to stop over there soon.
John - so glad you got this beautiful Frigidaire!! It looks great in your kitchen! I have that model in white and it’s one of the best baking stoves I’ve ever used.enjoy that beauty!
