Good Golly, Miss Molly

I'm not quite as bad as that, but I think or rather suspect that clutter is something a lot of collectors have to deal with. What to acquire, what to keep, what to shed. Weighty matters.

In any case, I'm in the middle of another de-cluttering. No washers are expected to depart in this phase, but I am shedding obsolete computer instruction manuals, software, etc...

Mostly it's just a matter of consolidating loose clutter into tightly packed clutter... lol...

Packrat on Oprah

Coincidentally on Oprah there was a 2 part show (yesterday and the day before) about a woman who had a major packrat problem. She and her husband lived in a 3400 sq. ft home and there was stuff everywhere in every room. She was a compulsive buyer. It took over 100 people 3 weeks to sort and clean everything out of the house. The stuff was either thrown out or sold. The stuff that was sold ended up occupying a 10,000 sq. foot warehouse. She had 300 pairs of shoes and 300 handbags not to mention everything else she had purchased over the years.

Reality check in Aisle 1, please.

BUT YOU YOURSELF SPENT IT, DEAR!

Saw that. Wasn't it Two x 10k square feet?

Why doesn't the spouse say "GET HELP NOW OR ELSE?"

When she was told what the proceeds of the huge "Tag-sale" were she was amazed.
