What great finds Robert!!! Good for Fred!! A beautiful Kenmore for sure, perfect for the collection.(Ducking and running)!! Love that 30 cup coffee maker too. Is it a Cory? Just perfect for those sheik dinner parties you'll be having for the holidays! A nice Eureka as well. A good day I would say!!

Samantha,

before you blame anyone for making you anschlepp anything, do remember, we have archives on you and your "discoveries" going back quite a while.

Seriously, I am totally jealous. That coffee urn is to die for.

"Oh look 2 drain outlets ;)"

Gee, I wonder what they're for? *giggle*

When you get over your suds-returnophobia, I'll transgender;'D

Deal?

Of course, you could fill the sink with fresh hot water, the let the K pump it into the agitating tub, add the soap and watch the magic and have the all fun without reusing suds.

modern German

Same basic meaning, but many neutral variations on the root.
If you speak English and German, you can follow Yiddish. If you have Yiddish well enough to speak it, you can pick up modern German in two shakes, but not English.

The Germanic group is not exactly the most logically structured language group.

I referred to "anschleppen" which is modern German, not Yiddish, partly because the pumping mechanism in the washer has a "Mitnehmer" and just couldn't resist the word play after Sam mentioned those two drains. (Mitnehmen, the root, means literally: to take with...)

Beautiful Kenmore find Robert. I know this is not quite within your time range for a collection piece, but this was worth it. My friend growing up had one exactly like this but his was white, and not a suds model. Whoever owned this took care of it; as it is pristine.

If you decide you don't want to keep it, I highly recommend you keep Gordon/Kenmoreguy64 in mind for it. I am sure he would like this washer, and it would be a first step in replacing the collection he was robbed of earlier this week.

Have a good one,
James

The fehrkockta timer cam assembly is cracked in half and allowing this to happen. I took the timer apart and it crumbled in my hands.

I've pulled the 'tator out (had to use the agi-tamer) and now out to the curb it goes.

If anyone would like this machine, let me know ASAP as trash pickup is on Tuesday.

You'll need a replacement timer and agitator.
