New Cascade commercial and Cascade Platinum Plus massively oversudsing dishwasher

Had to stop using Cascade in my Bosch dishwasher due to oversudsing. Finish seems to work great with no problems. Have also tried Lemi Shine dishwasher pods with very good results. The dishes have been coming out clean with a nice "squeak" when you handle them.

You can never go wrong with Finish; I find even their basic/starter range dishwasher products work better than other brands' top-of-the-line offerings. Store brand powder works okay too if you're in a pinch. Aldi used to do good tablets, but have since discontinued them and their replacement is inferior imo.

I think it's great we have different brands because one can work better than the other at some places. But I wouldn't listen to what is recommended for your dishwasher like what happened with this user, I believe it has something to do with paid partnership.

You're right about paid partnership; it's extremely common to see a "[insert brand here] recommends Finish" sticker affixed to the top of the dishwasher door. The only exception was my last dishwasher, which was from Aldi; had a "Stirling recommends Logix" sticker, for their own brand of dishwashing products lol

It's definitely true about water hardness; where I live has some of the hardest water in the country, but I don't really have issues with oversudsing. I must also use rinse aid no matter what the detergent claims, otherwise I get spots all over everything. This has seemed to work out for me so far, across several brands of dishwashers. I don't have a salt dispenser as they're not really a thing over here (the rest of Australia has very soft water in comparison to Adelaide)
