Matt, you have an eclectic transitional decor. My high school buddy's mom had all colonial with Clayton Marcus upholstered sofa in brown/yellow floral olefin, a yellow globe chandelier in the living room, and a dark pine dry sink in the kitchen. He still lived at home and took an interest in design. He moved it all to a spare bedroom and bought a tuxedo hir arm sofa and love seat in a peach with green large foliage and lily's, and two mauve velour traditional swivel chars. He used matching mauve hand towels for the arm covers. Another friend teased that he decorated on a dime. It went better with his moms traditional credenza curio and porcelain bell collection.
Yes, I have a comfortable mix throughout my home.
I tried to arrange things in a "Feng Shui" way, because plastering everything up against walls is so boring.
It's got a "cozy" yet comfortable feeling, seeing that its an 85 year old home, it works for me.
I like plush wall-to-wall carpeting too, it feels good when running around in socks, and softens the sound of the TV and stereo, because I dislike hard bare floors and reverberations.
Some of my friends and guests have walked in and said "Oh my god!.... does some old lady live here?"
LOL!
Beige Oscar Huber-La-Z-Boy Traditional sofa/loveseat/bucket chair, some modern Ikea & Bombay tables & Ikea entertainment center.
The dining room's primarily 1970s Mediterranean furniture, high-back chairs, with a few other pieces in the mix.
Each room's got its own personality, even the upstairs bedrooms.

I was in Menard's a couple days ago, and they had a large display of Sylvania TruWave bulbs. They're supposed to have excellent color rendering (90+ CRI), and emit much less blue light than standard LED type. I think the bulb is glass, and it looks like a regular incandescent lamp. They have clear and frosted, in various brightness and color temperature. They are moderately expensive at an average of around $20 for a box of four. I may get some this week.

Amazon has lots of decent LED "filament" style bulbs, you can find some with a nice 2700k light that won't make everything in the room look blue. They're not too bad pricewise, and those I've used seem to last well. I scored a ton at an outlet last month in PA, left all the 5000k stuff in the bins, and grabbed all the warm ones I could find. Some were $5.00 for a box of a dozen! I suspect there will be a good few at my estate sale, along with my clock collection nobody else will want...

Clocks, particularly analog ones, are something that's of interest to some people.
I've even designed and made a few for around the house, and my friends and guests have been impressed by them.
I've even made one as a gift for a friend's recreation room in his new home.
It looks like a vintage record player hanging on the wall.

Here's a couple that I made....
