Does anyone know the model number or have the use and care guide for this washer? Or know its back story. I've never seen this particular model but I like it.
Believe it to be 110.92593210. Mid 1994.
It was preceded by 1992 model 110.92293100.
Single cycle timer with auxiliary rapid advance with controls where any combination of water temperatures, options, speeds and wash time can be selected.
It did not come equipped with the agitator mounted fabric softener dispenser as seen in the video.

These models were a lower priced alternative to the fully electronic machines. They were able to do everything an electronic machine unit could do, with the familiar electromechanical dials.

I have downy balls for that, and I'd take that over any of the new stupid crap.Believe it to be 110.92593210. Mid 1994.

Remember seeing at local Sears store in the '90s I wish this model had been available in this configuration in 86 I would have been much happier with this model then the lady shred more
That is the EXACT (down to the color!) model we had while I was growing up. Absolutely fabulous machine. My mom was so excited when we got it (nowhere near as excited as me though!)
We had to replace the timer once but otherwise it was a great machine. One slight downside was that you couldn’t utilize the auto temp control without a permanent press cool down. Our clothes were very well rinsed!
Unfortunately there is not another cycle that matches the normal w/ the temp control. The heavy duty gets you the fast spin but it also gets you the fast wash agitate that I often don't want. Gentle gets you the slower agitate but also the slow spin that does not dry some items enough. The perm press cycle has a lot going with many different speeds but part of the cycle still has a fast agitate. I work at home and find myself in leisure/ athletic stuff more and more. Now that winter is here I use thermal underwear most days since I'm out with the dog -- etc.Normal is the Energy Saving cycle. So at the time, that was the way to reduce hot water use by not regulating the wash temperature by the ATC.
The light bulb is a small incandescent. Push and turn to remove and replace as I recall.

Manual intervention? ... fill a given load to the desired level on whichever cycle provides the wash temp you wish. Cancel, restart on the desired cycle. Run Spin Only when finished to get a faster final spin.Unfortunately there is not another cycle that matches the normal w/ the temp control. All of this type clothing wants/needs lower agitate speed -- I find myself just using the Gentle cycle.
Also -- normal setting .. actually, all the setting have the water volume on the highest settings when you use the presets. Even with the middle volume level called normal on the scale.
I often use the lower water volume and do a second rinse.
Normally I can't be bothered and just toss the slightly more damp stuff from the gentle cycle in the dryer but I'm finding some of it looks better hung up to dry. So, yes. Sometimes I go back and do the spin cycle after the gentle cycle has finished and other times I let in some hot water first and temper the water myself before picking the normal cycle. My water is very cold in the winter at that house.Manual intervention? ... fill a given load to the desired level on whichever cycle provides the wash temp you wish. I only have the stuff that came with mine -- it was inside the head of the units.
No -- Mine is that unit with the touchpad and electronic control.
