Looking for a wb21x158 temp sensor to a GE jk29 double wall oven. One is bad of the 2. The good one reads 15ohms at air temp. Ordered 2 new from a place in Arizona few weeks back but I think think I got scammed. So then I ordered a couple wb21t10005 as I read they were able to be used. But...
To follow up on this... I'm just now getting around to working on this. The upper has worked fine since I installed. I have finally tackled pulling the unit out and indeed the sensor is bad. And no one to blame but myself but I can not find a wb21x158 replacement. There is a used one on eBay...
Thanks I Learned something new. I thought it was a 65. It's been good to me. I had to get creative on the defrost solenoid few years back. Then the thermostat was acting up making it cycle to fast. Robbed one out an old hot point fridge but it won't go low enough for the freezer to be cold...
Will do was just hoping to find something with the decorative engraving in it but like everyone has said new piece from glass shop gonna be the easiest.
It has done well for 60 some years. Nothing was dropped just sliding another glass bottle around in there where it broke. And I don't think the original was tempered as when it broke it didn't shatter it just broke.
If I have to pull the oven from the wall im gonna be in trouble it was super tight to install. Thanks for the info I will get to checking it the weekend I hope.
I finally got around to installing my jk29 dual self cleaning oven. Been sitting in the garage for a few years now. The lower oven is not working.I'm not familiar with it yet so when you turn the oven set knob to bake little red light come on above knob. Then turn the oven temp to a desired...
So I don't need a timer. I disassemble the timer so I could follow the power flow thru it. I could never get the grey/power in to connect to the orange/fill solenoid or the brown/ drain solenoid. Scratched my head for a while then I realized the blue terminal goes to the soap dispenser door...
Anyone have a spare timer motor. It's been working well for the last 5 years or so occasionally it has a leak and I will have to make a new gasket for something but overall it's been good. Came home the other day and it was full of water and not draining. Chased it down to something in the...
