Pink Bathroom
Barry,
I agree! I love the pink bathroom. I'd also do as little remodeling as possible. It is difficult to fix vintage tile bathrooms when they have cracked or missing tile. Most people can't wait to rip all of that "old nasty junk" out.
Sadly
Nearly everyone these days wants a boring white and gray kitchen. I hate that every house that gets remodeled is gray and white. They look awful.
Oven
I didn't notice until you mentioned it that the oven was originally turquoise! It is shocking to see the old washer and dryer still there. Sadly, I'm sure they will all be ripped out soon after the sale is over.
Great Collection!
I see you like the Parker's! The vest set do have excellent color. I love the Challenger with the sword clip. Those are very cool! I never got into Wahl's too much. At least not the earlier ones. Seemed they were always very expensive!! But what lovely pens they are...
Pens
John, that would be great! I'd love to see some of your collection.
Wearever made many different styles of pen. They did make a hooded variety to attempt to give the appearance of a Parker 51. Those were functional but really subpar pens. The years have usually been quite unkind to...
Fountain Pen Sac
Thank you much!
Ralph,
Different pens use different filling systems. Most all lever fill pens use traditional inc sacs. They are all the same style of sac but do differ in size based on the size of the pen.
Replacing the sac is not technically difficult but does have...
Fountain Pens
My primary collection is fountain pens. I've bought and sold many over the last 7 or 8 years. Nothing beats a high quality fountain pen. My favorite are ones with a name imprinted and showing heavy use. I love the thought of a pen being used for the majority of one's career...
Stove
I live in the Wichita area as well. This is listed on Facebook Marketplace.
Sounds like you almost would have cabinets set up just for this stove. I wish I had a place to put this until I had a house ready for this beautiful stove.
Great to hear memories this stove brought back!
This is the coolest range I've ever seen! The seller says it is from 1964 and wants $50. They say it is a slide in and not free standing. That makes it not as appealing.
What do you all think?
