I loved that movie!
And just the other day I saw on TV (for the hundredth time) Baby Jane Hudson.
Patti Page did a wonderful rendition of Hush Hush's theme song too.
Take a listen...
I believe that GE was one of the sponsors of the show.
So naturally, there's be some GE appliances as props.
I know that the dining room had a GE console stereo in there.
I watched the video.
I don't like that type of filtering design at all.
And how efficient would it "burp" with a low water level?
It does have a nice fast draining before the spin, but that's it. :( :(
I did shine a flashlight down in there, and it looked fine to me.
During a draining, it's quiet except for the sloshing water sound in the kitchen sink garbage disposal.
In my Kitchenaid KDC19, when I serviced it a while back for leaks from a hose, I noticed that it had 2 impellers on the main motor shaft.
The upper impeller is obviously for pumping water to the two spray arms.
But what does the lower impeller down below it for?
Is it for pumping the water out...
The Chevy Monza was another piece of garbage that they wasted time building.
I borrowed one from a friend back in 1976, and the window cranks were falling off, the doors were loose, the engine sounded like crap and burned oil, and it handled like something that a kid would build in his basement...
Actually, it's not just "all about innovation" if one looks past their nose.
Sure, public displays like this one are radical portrayals of what is possible, along with eye-catching visuals with some "futuristic" styling thrown in.
However, it's not much different than going to an amusement park...
