    STPP = Fading?

    I agree with Lee. The modern dyes (from China, no doubt) do seem to fade faster. Thanks to our wonderful "Lady of the Laundry", Ross (Westyslantfront), I have been using STPP on my whites, sheets, and towels for some time now. As my towels are not dark, I have not noticed any fading; just brown...

    CR Blender reviews

    I don't own any modern blenders, so I don't have any opinion on them other than what I've seen. I have to admit, Evan's Blendtec was awesome! I have never seen any blender turn ice into "snow" before. This is definitely one to keep small children and pets (now where did that guinea pig go?) away...

    NEWer refrigerators

    Gee, it's GE! Hey Greg! We bought a GE Side by Side with the "Turbo-Cool" feature. It has water, crushed, and cubed ice in the door. I like the glass no-spill shelves and the roomy shelves in the door (for milk, etc.). The water filter is easy to change, and is located in the refrigerator...

    Letter to the club

    ...and now a word from Mom I have been conspicuous by my absence on the forum lately because of time constraints, but particularly on Robert’s thread (from last week), because I felt that Austin needed to deal with this issue himself. Contrary to what some might believe, I am a responsible...

    Oh, Happy Day (sorry, another off topic)

    Tomato Talk... I just used some Red Gold Italian Style tomatoes in tonight's meal. They definitely looked better than the usual canned variety, and tasted quite fresh. I noticed several different varieties on the shelves, but didn't even check the price, as I got mine free in one of those...

    You could lose the entire Naval Fleet in Rosie's Bermuda Triangle! Some things are better left unseen. ;-) Ducking and running in Maytag boxers!
