I'm not a Maytag expert, but is seems like you may be missing one digit in the model number. I have a LAT8624 that was made in Dec 1995. I think one of the guys will need the serial number to narrow down the manufacturing date. Pictures are nice too

1960s Those machines look great-- some of the Maytag Experts on here can tell you, but they look like models from the early 1960s. If you give them the Model and Serial Numbers, they might can tell you the month and year they were made. I'm sorry I don't know
