I was watching a documentary about 25 years of Watchdog when something caught my eye... I remember hearing that Hotpoint washer dryers had some fault which caused clothes to get ripped or something and loads of people sent in their ripped garments. It was quite funny and seemed to be effective...

It could be this model...released in 2005 I think As far as Hotpoint WMA/WT series go, this one's a rarity as it only appeared in for less than a year in 2005 and disappeared when the new Aqualtis range came. The model of this machine is WTV70 and WTV75 for the aluminium version (pictured)...
