Drain impeller It could be possible that the drain impeller is worn down and could prevent the water from being extracted as fast as it should be. This would also explain why this is a continuing problem and that the water accumulates in the sump over time.

Thank you Robert.... I debated whether to bring the GE oven to the new house but the new house has a Jenn-Air downdraft stove so I opted to leave the new GE behind. I was able to buy the new house without having to sell my aunt's house of which I had some attachment/sentimental feelings...
