Hello Folks! I'm trying to figure this one out as we love this dishwasher and I learned of its reputation on this forum. I noticed about a year ago that the water wasn't fully draining from the pan at the end of the cycle. As this progressed over the following weeks, it would eventually fill up and flood onto the kitchen floor. I was able to clear the drain line by blowing through it and it worked fine for a while. Well, it has progressively gotten worse over the last year and clearing the drain line every week doesn't seem to resolve this.

I've done some reading on here. Timer? Drain Valve? Impeller? Overfill protector pressure switch?

It will drain when I manually move the knob to the drain part of the cycle. I have to do this 3-4 times though to empty all the water.

Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance. Pictures below :)

I would check that there is nothing stuck inside the drain valve, it sounds like it is partially blocked and causing the machine not to fully drain. Don't get rid of it, it is a great dishwasher.

Drain impeller

It could be possible that the drain impeller is worn down and could prevent the water from being extracted as fast as it should be. This would also explain why this is a continuing problem and that the water accumulates in the sump over time.
