Blue-topped bins: paper, card, tin cans, glass, etc. Also collected by the council once every other week.

Black-topped bins (today dusted with snow!) for non-recycleable waste. Most people just have either one big one, or one small one. We're a family of six + 2 pets, and we get one of each. Collected by the council once every other week.

Looks similar to my parents' microwave - perhaps it's an older or more deluxe version...this is the only microwave we've ever owned, but I'd estimate it more at around 20 years old. It's certainly not 40! (yes, it needs a wipe-over, but that's their job, not mine!)

Panthera: Look again: the PCBs are in the sealed base of the machine, which is separate from the main body.

What a baffling comment! They call the diagram a 'bullsh*t artist rendering', and yet they don't cite any inaccuracy? Where's the 'bullsh*t'? Reads 99% positive to me - just one (serious) criticism, about the price. Did I miss something?

I'm just doing a little research at the moment - does anyone here know if this fan, or any similar design, ever made it to production? I've done as much 'googling' as I can, but without a model name or number, I'm limited in what I can search for! The assignee of the patent was Westinghouse...

Anyone under the mistaken impression that older cars are somehow 'safer' than their modern equivalents would do well to flick through this photo-book. Definitely not one for the sensitive or the faint-hearted, though...
