    KitchenAid KDI-59

Float/inlet valve The float moves up and down easily. I'll have to unplug it and see if it continues to fill. I'll give both of these tests a try when I get home. If it is in fact the water inlet valve does anyone know the part number for a vale that would be a good replacement? I'm pretty...

    KitchenAid KDI-59

Hello all, long time no post. So I picked up a dishwasher a few days ago, as I was fiddling around with it, I realized it doesn't stop filling. I'm clueless when it comes to dishwashers. I was told it is either the float switch or fill valve and that both of these are easily fixed. Can anyone...

    1950 through 1952 whirlpool washer

Congratulations! How cool is that?! Golly, I'm so happy for you John. I'll admit, the Water-Witch of the west (Southern California) was lusting for this one, I can tell you. I think I can speak for all of us here in saying we look forward to seeing the restoration process.

    1967 Whirlpool Washer

Nice! I will admit, I've been lusting over this washer for the past week. I was trying to figure out how to make it up there. I just checked and had noticed it was sold. My heart sank. But guess what, I am SO GLAD one us got it, and now it's safe and will be admired and loved! I'm so happy for...

    Surgilator and Straight Vane

Measurement Using this image only as an example, the way I measured mine was by placing a ruler on the top of the agitator, then measuring straight down from that point. I wonder if the one you have is slightly larger. Do you know what that agitator came off of originally?

    Surgilator and Straight Vane

Surgilator If you're willing to sell, I'm willing to buy. Other than it needing to be cleaned up, what condition is it in? Any cracks or chips? What does the height measure on it?

    Surgilator and Straight Vane

Hello everybody! I'm on the lookout for these two agitator types with corresponding caps. If anyone is willing to sell, please let me know. Thanks!

    Early Whirlpool Automatic.

This set came from Los Angeles Thank you everyone. John, this set came out from Los Angeles. All I saw was one corner of the washer and thought it seemed early, clicked on it and there it was. I was so excited. The post was just for the washer. While on my way there to look at it, the seller...

    Early Whirlpool Automatic.

Now I admit, I'm a little nervous. This is my very first Early Automatic washer/dryer set. I'm ecstatic and have so many questions. Is there anyone here that is fluent in "Whirlpool"? Would this washer have a natural drain? Are the "uv light bulbs" for these impossible to find, or is there a...

    Green Easy

Mickeyd Yes, the green Easy wringer above is mine, I also have an earlier copper tubbed one as well. The triple cone agitation seems to work ok in my opinion. There are about 4 holes on the shaft that will allow you to adjust the cones according to different load sizes. The only draw back I...

    Green Easy

Golittlesport Oh wow, I never noticed the ad mentioning the option for an agitator version instead of the triple cone version! I have an Easy wringer that looks almost identical to this spin drier version. I wonder if it dates to 1932 also?
