    Which oil?

Morning guys. I've been thinking about which type of oil I need for my Empress. It seems to be fine, but I am worried about it running dry at some point. Now, do I pop in some Castrol GTX lol? Is there any specific grade or type of oil I should use? Any advice would be appreciated. James :-)

    Hotpoint Empress help

Update Ok, it is working near perfect. The noise was due to the pump lever being loose, plus having no water in it for years. It now operates with a nice steady click.clack sound. The pipe from the drain to the pump started to leak a tad, until I reakised I was using my HMDL fill hose to empty...
