    The Air-Way 35 gets a new bag!

Finally, after a lot of work, my Air-Way 35, "The Chief", got her new outer cloth bag and it looks great. I bought the bag on ebay last year. It was designed to fit the earlier straight suction models and the flat metal rods had a totally different fitting at the machine end and the handle end...

    HOW CLEAN COMPACT BUMPER?

Mark, Greetings ole pal! I'm sure you will get all kinds of replies but I have always used high quality lacquer thinner on an old washcloth and I recommend wearing gloves as the stuff will eat through your skin and fingernails but does a hell of a job!

    Surprise inside Olds!

65 Olds Convertible Darrel, That Holiday Coupe' convedtible is definately keeper! I really like the lines of the 65's and the convertible was one of the prettiest. The antenna on the passenger rear fender is so much more attractive than on the front passenger fender like the Town Sedan...

    Surprise inside Olds!

Back Shot The Imperial's rear lights---the only year with the fabulous sequential turn signals! I know Thunderbird used them but I'm not sure who else did. Sadly, many Imperials ended up in demolition derbys because the only thing that could kill an Imperial, was another Imperial. Oh what...

    Surprise inside Olds!

4 door sedans KP, I agree with you about the 4 doors in the future. I have always preferred 4 door vintage cars because of the ease of entry, ability to carry people and relatively low price. The lux-o-boats that GM made are my favorites, ie: Electras, 98s and Cadillacs. I sold my 66 Sedan...

    Surprise inside Olds!

Window Sticker When I bought "Elizabeth" from the daughter and son of the original owner, not only did they have the window sticker but the original owner's manuals with protect-o-plate and the dealer brochure. Mr. Reich, the original owner, loved this car and ordered if from Central Motors in...

    Boxed Hoover Convertible on Ebay

Ida and the Converto-Vac Agnes, The best thing about the Westinghouse is that it will go SO WELL with Ida's hair! Of course everything she buys goes well with her hair. 589's in that condition are a dime a dozen? Most I've seen were pretty beat up. BTW, the Hoover 67 is in the garage...

    Boxed Hoover Convertible on Ebay

burning money Jeff, I would love to have that Hoover but for that price? Crazy! I agree about the cord and the seller seems to be kind of cavalier about the shipping based on the above post. Should be fun to watch along with the Westinghouse Convertovac. I know Ida would love to have that and...

    Air-way Vacuum wanted...........

FYI.............. Just got off the phone with Air-Way. The new bag is NOT filtrete and is not made by 3M! It is a paper bag that will be blue in color and it is in fact SUPERIOR to the wood pulp cellulose bag. It is NOT like the bag George Lovely uses in his Black Knight products. Doubters may...

    Air-way Vacuum wanted...........

Wood pulp cellulose bags David, Unfortunately, the pulp cellulose bags will no longer be available due to the age of the bag tooling equipment. I learned this from Clay Floyd, another Air-Way distributor. You may have read about it on the VCCC forum where he posted some information. The wood...

Air-Way of Charlotte, NC here.............. Air-Way makes three models of Air-Ways: The Signature Series which is the EXACT same body style used since the introduction of the model 88 in approx. 1958. The FRANKENVERTIBLE!

Hmmmm.... Austin, Definately something not quite right with that Hoover! The 1010 was a Convertible Special, (budget model), from 1968-69 and it's original colors were Spring Green and Seal Griege mixed medium and dark. However, the one you have has got some 728 drag going on! The 728 was a...
