The Air-Way is very light and easy to maneuver. I took a "new" old bag, (I bought on ebay), to my tailor yesterday with the one from the Air-Way and she is going to use the one on the vacuum as a pattern to create a better looking "new" old bag for the vacuum. Does this even make sense? Anyway...

Shiny Rich, When I got the Air-Way from another collector, she had had it buffed out by a vacuum store owner friend. She found the vacuum at a sewing/vacuum store in Kewascum, WI and the buffing was done in Milwaukee. It is a lovely machine and it too, has the beater bars but I leave them on...

Air-Way model Rich, Beautiful Air-Way Super Chief you have there. The model number should be on the handle on the on/off switch. I'm guessing it is a 36 or 37? The bag looks original as does the cord. How does it run? I have the earlier model, the Chief, model 35 and it still cleans beautifully.
