On the coin-operated model the milk stool is taller, the inner and outer tubs are about an inch or two shorter and the motor mounted drain pump is higher up. I'm curious why that is and when it changed.

The date in the thread was most likely off or assumed. At this time both the classic clean and TR are being produced. Given the lights, lid lock, energy star rating, ect my bets are this is one of the very first commercial TRs to come out on the market.

FIFY (Fixed It For You) Hot only seems available on the whites cycle, which I presume is just a normal cycle with a hot wash. I am curious if this machine has any special programming.

That is an interesting theory. In addition to placing less strain on the machine if the tub was absolutely jam packed. Also the smaller tub could help with the shorter cycles topically found on coin-op and OPL machines. It would be interesting to know about the transition between the two belt...

I came across this and I can't help but notice some difference. Why is the tub smaller on the commercial model? Does the Home-Style model have a larger/better balance ring? Why the difference between the two and is one better than the other?

I personally would prefer a water level switch and timer knob. And of course, the classic clean drive system.

What does everyone think of these? They seem to be that TR series which I am guessing will now move its way down the commercial lineup. I like the concept of having the temps built into the cycles, but I don't like the lack of water level selector unless the machine is load sensing.
