Here's a 3rd machine doing the same thing at around 9:50.  So far, I have only seen videos of DD washers doing this at the end of the Catalyst treatment, never at any other time.  

Yeah I've noticed this violent braking in Henry's and Matt's videos.  I wonder if these machines did this even when brand new.  It happens in this video at about 4:30.

Did any models of this style of washer have the Ultra Rinse System that does two spray rinses after the wash in addition to after the deep rinse?    

It did jam on just one occasion, which just happened to be when I was shooting a quick video of it!

I can barely believe it either, Barry.  Are you able to confirm that the disposer does indeed restart without warning after an automatic reset of the cut out?  Can we confirm that the power does not need to be cycled off/on before the disposer jumps back to life?   I did manage to find a vague...

If the overload protection is now auto-resetting and the disposer will restart without the power being cycled, that is ludicrous.  If it does cut out, many people have air switches and/or have their disposer hard wired.  People are likely to press the button and will have no way of knowing if...
