I too like the looks of the 2018 panel. I have my eye on SQ if my 15 year old Maytag ever needs to be replaced. I’m used to short washer cycles so curious how long they are with the SQ?

I’d probably be interested in the 575 Maytag if it had selectable water levels. Not a fan of having the machine do it which leads to longer cycles.

Nice review, the SQ is on my list to replace my 15 year old Maytag. It fits into my required space and I like that you can control the water level. Should wash fine for my needs.

And load rollover is what happens in a dual agitator washer. Not how most other washers operate. That dual agitator fails miserably in comparison if using the same criteria with a front load machine.

I’m not sure it makes a lot of sense to wash a lightweight microfiber cloth in a washer full of blue jeans. If I did and used the Speed Queen, I would have put it in first. The manner in which the SQ washes is different than how a dual agitator does as seen in the video. A bogus demo IMO.

If they would have treated the stain strip like how most normal people wash a stained item, the stain strip would have likely come clean. No fun though, if the goal is to trash the machine doing the washing. Like golf, it’s the golfer and not the club to blame for a bad round.

I like the new GTW460ASJWW. Dual action agitator, allows you to select 4 water levels, extra rinse. I can’t think of any other current TL models with those features.

I was at Young’s Appliances in Glen Ellyn this week and they still have several 2017 SQ models available. I like being able to select your water level.
