I can't believe how little amount of Persil I need in my SQ front loader. We don't have really dirty clothes either.(Lots of synthethic fabrics) I never use Fab Soft and have never noticed a residue or lingering odor. Whites towels and sheets I use oxy and vinegar as my softner.

Thanks for replying. Yes it is the stacked so called 1 piece unit with the waist high control panel. Not a bother at all. Was worrisome. Thanks for putting me at ease. Just something else running and using unnecessary power like my cable box that never really goes off.

My Speed Queen stacked gas dryer timer is completing cycles correctly and shutting off. However I noticed a slight buzzing when I walked past the units. I moved the timer further into the off position and the low buzzing stopped. I put my ear against he machine near the timer and now hear a low...

Nice machines Both machines are Beautiful! My maytag wringer is not quite in that good of shape. She runs good but agitator is stuck on. Not ready to remove it yet! I would have thought dryer was gas too with that access door at bottom. Including all suggestions is she wired up to a 220 outlet?

Hello So my Kenmore series 500 top loader fills with cold water (when selected) even during the last spin. It does not overfill and shuts off but cold water enters the machine during all cycles. Does not happen when hot is selected. After the last spin the tub is full of water. I tried fooling...
