I bought an EGO 13 months ago. So far, so good. It outperforms all of the gas ones I've owned in the past (including my Hondas). We'll have to wait to see about durability.

There is a couple on Shoppers Square right now. In 50 years, my family had 2 Filter Flos. Never even changed a belt on either one ... and before I learned how to treat a washer I overloaded them regularly. In my opinion, the best washer ever made.

In 50 years my family had 2 GE Filter Flo washers, a 1967 and a 1989. Never even changed as much as a belt on either one. They had the coolest sounding timers when you turned them to set the wash cycle. I really miss them.

There are many uses for borax, not limited to just cleaning.
