You don't see many from this generation of Australian Hoovermatics around much. Its always made me wonder why in the UK they made put a a fill port into the machine that filled the wash side and auto rinsed the spin side, yet in Australia they just punched a slotted hole into the spinner lid...

The machine does have a hot wash option. Basically it blows heated air onto the recirculating stream of water, somehow heating it. This is what i got from the manual anyway :-) That manual sure is hefty!
