    Hide or not to hide?

Robert from Port. St Lucie Is one attractive man. Without the mustache,or with, you remind me a lot of Doug Wilson from Trading places or Moving on up, or whatever his show is. I'm sure you have a nicer attitude.

    Mama's appliances

I was watching dvds of Mama's Family. She seemed to have quite the collection of appliances. I can't make out the name of her pink bottom freezer fridge. In the earlier shows she had a top load dishwasher. In a flash back episode, she had a Maytag wringer. Anyone know what kind of appliances she...

Canadian Content in my Living Room

I am sure Pete never thought his innocent visit would create such gossip, hearsay, chit chat, tittle tattle, dish, jaw, yak, and chin wag. He is probably admiring the finish on a Kirby right now and wondering why his ears are burning

It is a Heritage II. grey bag with red k's on it. It was at the side of the road with a sign on it that said free and an extra bag and belt taped to the handle.

    Is this Canadian?

Oh I miss Eatons. What kind of agitator is in yours? The ad in the Eaton's cataloge described them as the Square Flair. The square design sent extra currents of water rushing back.

    Is this Canadian?

I think it is I was at an auction last Monday and this exact machine was there in harvest gold. I have seen them go without a bid.I had $140.00 to spent. Breeze Detergent That stuff was in the States too? In the 70's thats all my mom, aunt and grandmother used. There was more towel than soap in the box. The nice thing was, the towel was so ladden with soap you could just toss it in the machine and you could do a whole load. If I remember...

    My Summer: Adventures in Cooking

I am such a fan of Ina Garten When I worked at William Sonoma On Bloor street, we would have local celebrity chefs come in. I always wished she would drop by. She looks like she would be so much fun to hang out with and learn how to cook. She has such beautiful skin and hair.

I'd definitely pay $50 for this Maytag wringer.....

Gary, Was there any reason why your Grandmother wouldn't use it? When my Grandmother got her first automatic washer, she would wash stuff in the sink too. I don't think she was afraid of it,She had cataracts and couldn't see what she was doing. No one ever knew she was half blind.
