Henckel Persil, Lever Persil, Ariel..... which? where?

Family Dollar.. Does sell Ariel USA, but, I've never seen Mexican Ariel sold at there stores. *Some* Krogers on the other hand do sell Mexican Imported Ariel, as well as, Meijers, and some Wal-Mart stores. I think I've also seen it at Target a couple of years ago.    The Ariel USA, or now...

How long does your dishwasher take?

I hope you realize.. On these newer Dishwashers that take longer to wash dishes, The Water Pump uses significantly less power & energy to operate, as well as much less water (to fill up with). And Since there's less water, there is less water for the heating element to heat up, plus, there's...

    Spic-n-Span

Procter & Gamble... Makes a professional line, Spic & Span spray (which is Phosphate Free) but, is a really great cleaner, as well, as a Phosphate & Phosphate Free Powder version.   In my Area however, I can find Spic & Span spray, at dollar stores & value stores. It's not made by P&G though...

"Studies in the LGeeee" aka, WILD TURBO PIX

LG Machines Are technically supposed to introduce, Chlorine Bleach, sometime during the last 10 minutes of the wash cycle. But, one finds, if you're not careful, and use more than 1/2 cup, it dispenses in seconds.    Honestly, I've found it easier, to just run another cycle, with Bleach as...

    LG FL Needs more water

I forgot to add... LG Machines, do calculate the amount of water in the drum, and once measured, use the same amount of water for the rinses as it did with the main wash. So, once you've got it filled to your desired amount your good.

How much Phosphorus is actually in STPP & TSP?

The reason I asked.. Is I'm planning on doing writeups, on proper mixing ratios of STPP to Dishwasher Detergent.    I've been finding ingredient disclosure & MSDS sheets, and comparing new formulas, from old, to see what's best to mix up. Only bad thing so far, is at $5-7 a pound for STPP, a...

    LG FL Needs more water

I know someting about LG Machines On The Perm Press, Delicate & Hand Wash, the water level sensor is deactivated.    If one desires, lots & lots, of H20. One Finds, hitting the tub clean button, after, turning off the machine, and turning it back on, fills it 1/3 way up the door. It's mix of...

How much Phosphorus is actually in STPP & TSP?

Anyone actually know?   I was reading a box of Finish Tabs and something hit me -   "The formula for this automatic dish detergent averages nor more than 8.7 phosphorus by weight, in the form of phosphates, which is equivalent to 2.2 grams per use level."   That's barely even half of a...

Europe phosphate regulations- all STPP out within 2016 in DW products?

I've never understood... Why anyone opens the door.   If you're using Rinse Aid, and your last rinse water, was of a decent temperature, the combination should dry your dishes. By opening your dishwasher door, you're letting all the hot steam & thermal heat out, that helps dry off anything...

Tide Liquid being diluted with more water, price increased gradually by 13%

Wisk... Actually has more Enzymes than Tide, and as you can guess, Cleans Noticeably Better.   Personally, I don't like Liquids Though. I think they gunk up washer drums, and just aren't as good as powders. I use Tide HE Powder, but, not by choice, only because it was Free because of a...

Tide Liquid being diluted with more water, price increased gradually by 13%

Procter & Gamble recently decided to make certain varieties of Tide detergent more costly for shoppers. Based on a Wall Street Journal story, the company appears to be raising prices an unheard of three ways simultaneously. It seems to be passing on a straight list price increase of about 13%...

Europe phosphate regulations- all STPP out within 2016 in DW products?

I don't have anything to say... About Water. But.. I'll say this about Detergent.    I like my Phosphate Laden Detergents, and will continue to use them. I will admit though, I know that Finish Quantum would blow mine out of the water, no question about it. However, I will say though, Finish...

Europe phosphate regulations- all STPP out within 2016 in DW products?

I'm not exactly sure... What Joe is smoking? In my experience, those phosphate laden Cascade Action Pacs, leave dishes significantly more shiny, and gleaming than the Phosphate Free Complete Pacs.    The Complete Pacs, leave lots of Water Spots (if rinse aid isn't added) and... I can tell...

Tide Pod Stains A Load Of Whites

Those stains... Specifically the Purple one, comes out with lots & lots of rinsing, under cool *not cold nor warm* but cool water. Cutlery Basket vs. Cutlery Drawer

If the water usage has been messed with... Like they have been here in America, she probably needs to look for another detergent. Lower Water Usage machines, now need special detergents with "extra shine" and "rinse aid" bulit in. Powders & Liquids, and Gels, just don't work so hot in them...
