Persil I find Persil Powder works very well, and is low sudsing. It also has a nice clean scent, not stinky mouldy like our liquid detergents. lol Tide Powder HE is nice also.

Amish Fireplace Heater My uncle has the Amish Fireplace heater and loves it. It really throws off a lot of heat, and they claim it uses about as much electricity as a light bulb. Try to Google it since there are a lot of them out there.

I have used Persil powder with great results. I think the jumbo box sells at a local appliance store for 75.00. But..... you use very little and it lasts a long time. I think you can find it a lot cheaper on the internet.
