    1967 Philco WS642 washing again!

Why does ... it say 62° instead of 60°? It seems to have a nice washing action! Congrats!

    Speed Queen Washers (current models)

Haha mark.. I agree with you it was like a holy grail or something! It seems that this is the American equivalent of the OLYMPIA. I was suprised that this machine pauses quit long during washing! The water level is superbe and the rinseperformance very good! Only I noticed a clicking sound...

    New 2010 Kenmore Front Loaders

Laundry Monitor Is'nt that a portable screen or so to inform you about the washing/drying cycle saving you the trip back to the washer? Miele has this system for years and recently they updated it so you can check all your miele applainces with just one screen and I think you can even start of...

This NEW Washer-Am I The Only One???

OK favo don't shoot me! I emailed Miele and they told me (hopefully they are not lying), for professional equipment they use the 1:10 cotton ratio, 1kg = 10 liter => 8kg means a drum of 80 liter. For householdequipment they use 1:9 to 1:9,5. So before we discuss capacity we have to agree what...

This NEW Washer-Am I The Only One???

Euh favorit... Are you sure about that? :p I checked that machine out yesterday and it was slightly deeper than a traditional Miele. I didn't check the interior but from my point of view it is a real 8kg. Miele had a 6 kg drum installed in a 60 x 60 x 85, so why should the make their cabinet...

This NEW Washer-Am I The Only One???

Miele relatively tiny? Hahah that's the best I've heard in years XD. Here in Belgium Miele introduced in a silent way their new range of washer with a TRUE 8kg drum! SO I don't think miele is tiny... they are not tiny at all!!!!! As you see the door is diffferent but I like the new classic style!

Spin-a-rinse and spray rinses in frontloaders ??

Haha thx favorit... Apparantly the 'kannegiesser' technology is new and performes good! Well you read my mind. I was thinking about saving on rinse water and using it to wash properly during mainwash! The machine would spin out the wash water and slow down to a certain rpm where the clothes...

Another FL or back to Top Load

About rinsing... I was thinking about starting a new thread about this, but hah maybe I just could post it here. During hollidays I work a few days at an industrial laundry. Because of an increased amount of customers they decided to change from washer extractors to CBW (continous batch...

    GE Harmony Washer and Dryer

GE Harmony and the vids... I've seen vids where the washer fills up the tub completly. I thought that these vids where made of a machine where the automatic sensor was override to fill the machine up. Can someone show us how the harmony normally works? :) btw I love the styling of the...

Miele Softtronic - why one rinse less when C°>= 60 ?

Are you sure washboy? I thought the extra rinse was because of the new theory of rinsing. The proces of diluting works best when the temperature of the rinsewater is equal to the temperature of the soapywater inside the fibers. When you was on 60°C, after the intermitted spin, the laundry is...

    Miele Dishwashers

Oké miele during war-time produced untill halfway 1940'ties the 'normal' products like washer, mangles, but also stairs and even bikes... Then they where forced to change to war-time products like small stoves to steam food for the animals, manly potatoes (untill 1941), and handchariots for the...

    Some More of my designs

What about that indcution? Is that a washer with inductionheating or whatever? Or a dryer that pulls inductionwaves to heat up the laundry instead of hot air?

    Cycles overviews

Miele still has the 13/2 rythm at least mine has, build in 2000. But it's true that miele has different rythms, so maybe your 11/4 is one of them!

    Miele Service Manuals

I think... Brisnate 81 is right. I would call the Miele Service. I think when something would be shorted, there would be no light or sound. And still it's a good machine!

    Does anyone else do this?

Héhé Sounds like the best way my parents could get me to sleep! I was (and still am) a restless sleeper. I would cry night and day... but once in front of the washer (that's easier with FL, you can watch while running!) I would calm down and even fall asleep. And still when I want to think...

Check out this LG Tromm tub clean cycle video

Why does LG has that strange filling routine... They fill with very short burst of water at the beginning, and just after a few moments they start to fill up. Is there any reason why? I've never seen other washers do it that way.

    AEG cold water washing!

Euh maybe totally of the record... but miele launched in 1958 a machine that also was able to wash in cold water... so did constructa and bauknecht and olympia and westinghouse with their laundromats and ... right need I say more !! *wink*

    Electrolux washers

    Commercial washer Spin-Drain

JLA is ... I guess the company that sells the unites... but I'm not sure héhé! You could be right also... Thought in scandinavia there is an other brand but it's the same machines.

    Commercial washer Spin-Drain

Hee, those are... IPSO washers, and yes they do that kind of thing. I'm not sure if they do it every time they drain. I thought that after the pre- and mainwash the machine drains completly and goes into spin. But during rinses it' performs it's spinrinse thing. It's nice to see how well the...
