Get out your popcorn! Here's a full cycle video of my KDM-21 Soak & Scrub Pots/Pans Cycle

That makes sense. I usually use a pretty small amount of the boil out. Unless the dishes are really dirty. Most times though I only use Light Wash because this thing cleans so well LOL. My normal loads of dishes aren't terribly dirty.

Get out your popcorn! Here's a full cycle video of my KDM-21 Soak & Scrub Pots/Pans Cycle

My pleasure. I had so much fun watching it on the GoPro app from my phone lol. Amazing what makes us washer nuts excited haha. That's a great idea about mixing the 2. I'm actually just starting my last box of a 6 box carton I purchased almost exactly a year ago. Not bad in my opinion but I...

I agree...they said it's weed out the "bad people". I think what they mean is the people who film crazy stuff just to get views or steal other people's videos, etc. They can earn money just by doing that. I think they should just look at those people and take away their adsense privileges. You...

Get out your popcorn! Here's a full cycle video of my KDM-21 Soak & Scrub Pots/Pans Cycle

Forgot to mention detergent.... I use the Cascade Fryer Boil Out for most washing. When I run the Soak & Scrub Pots/Pans cycle, instead of the boil out, I throw in a Cascade pac (this time it was a Platinum pac) for the soak and scrub portion only. I usually leave the prewash cup empty because...

Get out your popcorn! Here's a full cycle video of my KDM-21 Soak & Scrub Pots/Pans Cycle

Loving my new GoPro Hero 5. Now I can make videos of my dishwasher! Woohoo. This is a full cycle video up until the dry sequence. Fast forward through the boring parts if you wish. The machine is packed pretty full so you can't see the bottom sprays too much, but I'll be making more videos! Enjoy!

Aww thank you Eugene! I love your videos. Yes YouTube has pissed a lot of people off, I was reading the comments on the email they sent. Yikes. I am uploading a video of inside my 1985 Hobart KA KDM-21 as I type this. I spent a good deal of money on a GoPro so I can make better videos. It's...

    YouTube channel

I've made a decent amount of money on mine but YouTube just changed their monetization standards effective 2/20/18. You now have to have at least 1K subscribers and 4.000 hours of watchtime in the previous 12 months. So now my channel doesn't qualify for adsense earnings any longer. It's a...

    my kenmore 13222

My friend's parents have this model in black and they really like it. It's amazingly quiet, I couldn't even tell it was running.

Fisher & Paykel FabricSmart Steam FL

Yeah I don't know much about their FL's...but there are a few videos on YT showing their operation. Their "normal" dryers seems quite nice. They are made by GE, and were even before Haier acquired GE appliances.

Finally the full wash video of the new 2018 Speed Queen washer

FP Water temps I've had my WashSmart since November and I can fill you in about some things. First of all, this machine only uses water temp selected during the initial fill to Eco Active stage, where it recirculates the concentrated water/detergent solution on the items for 4 minutes. It then...

Finally the full wash video of the new 2018 Speed Queen washer

It's like the Frigidaire Immersion care with an agitator, LOL. It will probably clean just fine, really. I just don't understand why with that much water, they couldn't stick with a normal agitation? I was expecting it to use like a lot less water for all the redesign they did.

Detergents Update: What are you using?

Surf I just bought a small box of Surf at Walmart. Has anyone ever used it? Smells decent...more old school detergent smell.

Detergents Update: What are you using?

I like to try different detergents, but lately have been alternating between Persil Fresh Scent and some variant of Tide. Usually go for Tide because it's on sale or has coupons more often. I loved Wisk, but obviously it's not available any longer. Right now I'm using Tide PurClean and I think...

    New Commercial MT washer pics.

Exactly. It's called sarcasm. ;-) Meaning the current admin have bigger fish to fry than allowing consumers to use more water in their washing machines, unless it means more money in their pockets of course, which it doesn't. The DOE and EPA work under the same umbrella basically.

X2. Unless the new administration rolled them back already?   Not yet...once they're done rolling back pollution standards to ensure we get as much exposure to chemicals as possible, I'm sure they will tackle washing machines. :-/

New Maytag commercial top load washer video.

It's just nice to see another simple, heavy duty machine on the market. Seems like the last few years have been so schizophrenic for Whirlpool trying to keep up with DOE mandates and/or consumer preference. Hopefully things will settle down now. This is a great product.

New Maytag commercial top load washer video.

On another note...the actual commercial coin operated version of this machine does come in an electronic control panel model with display and buttons. So if this model is successful, perhaps they will offer an electronic version with more options, like soil level selector, etc.

New Maytag commercial top load washer video.

Yes I'm very impressed too. It would be nice if they did incorporate some of this technology in other washers. But given the price of this machine, I imagine it would be more expensive too. Probably part of the reason they ditched their DD wash system across the board. It was most likely getting...

Kirk is posting a video of it washing just a few shirts and he said the water level is def lower than this last video.

PROOF That H.E. Washers DON'T Save Water!

HE washers have morphed a bit in the last couple of years to be more versatile, probably due to consumer complaints. Seems as though now you can pick HE or non-HE on most machines, at least for certain cycles. But I think most washers that offer auto load sensing are considered HE machines, in...
