SCORE! Finally found a used PW6065

I've had one for a year this month The PW6065 had been my dream washing machine too. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase one. After a year I'm still discovering different options. This little 6KG capacity machine seems small in capacity but I've been able to wash everything, including my...

New Persil and older Miele washers

The Little Giants fill as Louis states. After a quick drain, then a brief flow of water down the door as the light turns off, when that shuts off, there's a 10 second or so flow through the prewash compartment and finally the main wash flush. I also assumed this was to prime the ecovalve.

    Ammonia in Laundry

I'm with yogitunes on this one. We've used it in dark colour loads since childhood. I like it especially in loads where perspiration is an issue. Towels always get a dose, never had an issue with stinky towels. Great in helping with grease and oil as well. I think it's one of the unsung heroes...

    Biltmore Estate, sneaky laundry pics!

The Estate is one of my favourite places to go. Have been a pass holder for years. Love the laundry too, duh. Lol. My favourite vignette is the one with the gold dust powder and the javel water. My spouse now works security there, I keep asking for a behind the scenes tour of the laundry rooms.

    Washing Comforters/Bedspreads: What's Your Process?

Frigilux, I never use the Bulky cycle either. It just doesn't seem like they get clean enough. I use either Normal or Heavy, depending on soil level (Dogs and Cats in the house as well). Warm or Hot, depending on comforter. I generally select a prewash, it helps to deflate the comforter...

    Turkey Skillet Casserole

Just made this for Sunday dinner for the family. It's really good, I love casseroles anyway. Plus I like that it's all done in one dish. Had left over mixed veg so used those instead of corn and added cheese to hash browns, because- cheese. This one is on the list now, I can see lots of...

How much Tide powder should I use?

American detergent dosing has always been vague. With high dilution machines the norm for decades, detergent dosing hasnt neededto be anywhere near precise. Now that we're in the realm of HE machines, most Americans are having to learn how to be more careful with dosages and the manufacturers...

Rosalie's Zero Suds is now available on line

I like it too. Good, solid performer. I enjoy reading your posts, they've been very helpful in doing some work arounds. My biggest beefs are not being able to do a prewash before sanitise and the heater not being engaged in all cycles. I couldn't wait, so did the eBay thing. Lol I like...

Rosalie's Zero Suds is now available on line

Arrived in the post a few minutes ago!! Just received my packet of Zero Suds. The moment has finally arrived that I get to try it for my self. I thought I had to wait until Wednesday for my package to arrive, but to my surprise it came two days early. Christmas in July! I've got the "maiden"...

Is there any kind of consensus on what the most reliable FL washer is today?

Frigilux, I've actually found the "pet beds" cycle to be quite useful. It works much like "heavy" with the steam and heater modifiers selected. It times out around an hour and a half. It seems like it uses a bit more water too. I wash our soft sided dog beds on this cycle frequently, seems to do...
