I have an old BRANDT(1st machine on the picture)with very simple technics,only 11 programmes and a slow speed(360rpm),but still in good working conditions!They used to be sold in Germany in the 70ies,pretty cheap,but good quality with or without a glass lid! Greetings, Thomas.

The main problem of the Miele Twin Tub comparing to AEG Turnamat or Zanker Intimat Twin Tubs was that You could not load the washer drum with the next load while the first one was spinning.There was only 1 lid that has to be closed for the spin cycle so you could not reach the washer...

...it´s not abritish factory,it´s a german washer produced as "Wamsler",a company that produced ovens and stoves and this is the only waher by this company,I know!

Lepper has build the fastest washer/dryer combinations in the late 70ies and early 80ies!They first built them for the "Quelle"warehouse,named Matura but also for AEG,Bauknecht and Respekta in Germany.A full drying load(2.5kg) only took 45 Min.to get cupboard dry.A sensation for a washer/dryer...

...the washer is originally built by the Zanker Company which does not longer exist in Germany!It is specially designed for built in the kitchen counters.The detergent dispenser is in the door and it has electronic controls.Has not even popular over here!This model only last a few years!Didn´t...
