I drank the Kool-Aid !!! Who could resist the Mother General of Aworg? Bought Saturdee on Amazon, it arrived yesterday, and I opened it immediately and started a small load of nasty stuff hampered in the kitchen Visimatic. Pete is right:the smell is intense which was surprising since the Amazon...

Your Experience with Electric, Invisible/Hidden Fences.

Sincere Apologies to Bob, Dan, Sean, and Ken whose helpful commentary, especially Bob's, was removed due to my mistaken placement of this thread in Imperial, and shame on Gizmo who actually ordered people not to comment in the thread going on and on, after three days, and facilitated its...

Jon, Roxy goes everywhere in the car just like Artey did, and I appreciate your advice, wondering if the car would block the current. Nathan, many dog owners have warned me that dogs--especially big ones like Roxy--dig under the fences quickly, and Roxy is a digger. Thank You. As for the...

Thanks Pete, we reside on Lake Shore Road also known as Route US 5, a main artery and are fearful of the very people you describe. Using very long leads, we give Roxanne yards and yards to roam, and then there is my beach where she has a ball and gallops like a horse. Now that she's approaching...

Oh !............. You were talking about connecting a unicoupler to the valve, different hose and NOT a washing machine hose. I will take pix of my portables' wheels--a Hobart and a two Whirlpools--later today to give an idea of what you may be looking for.

Michael, I was astonished to learn back in 2016-ish when at the DC Wash-in that all dishwashers use washing machine hoses. Go figure. If mistaken, John Combo will correct; he's the one who showed me while re-hosing a Frigidaire DW at the museum.

    Home Again

Wow, what Pumper said , and a Herculean effort by any measure. Little wonder people stopped and stared with all that vintage turquoise and pink porcelain and gleaming chrome. Loved especially, seeing the Easy Spin, the wringers, and the round tub Kenmore automatic not to mention the all bongo...

    Wringer washer (coppertone) Windsor Ont

Think my two-man canoe will make the trip, since we had not a lick of ice on the lake this winter, except for a few shore igloos after two big storms. Winter here this year was a bust, prolly same for you.

    Wringer washer (coppertone) Windsor Ont

Hey Petey ~ It's a looker all right, especially dusted off--really nice shade of copper, too. One of the pix shows you're right about Marshall Wells. Four hundred without even a dust-off. Christ! Some People, LOL.

The Vintage Laundry Room: Part One

Amazing stuff, Louie~ The material starting at Reply #32 is so illuminating. We have known that timers arrived on Wringer Washers simultaneously with automatics' mass production, circa 1950, but what is HOLY COW HOMER, is the two-speed option on a '50 machine whose control configuration is...

Hi Mike, I could prolly pass it off as New-In-Box were it not for the valve. It is truly immaculate.. Think of you a lot, that's why I never take the icon picture down because you're in it, smiling. Will remember to snap more washer shots from the deck just for you! Spring came early here, so...

Friendly Conversation Thanks, everyone. Appreciate your time. First to Paul and Greg. I was subjected to an identity theft attempt, and caught it before losing a dime, but my email has been shut down for months, and I had reached out to both of you months ago; sorry you could not get back to...
