    I hate to admit Anything new is worth anything, But John is right, I have a 2 year old GE dishwasher and yes it takes a long time, but it cleans perfectly, burned on casseroles etc come out spotless.

    The 1725 Hotpoints Worked ok, but were the all time noisiest dishwashers ever made.They sound like a garbage disposal fighting a chainsaw lol.

    How often do you use the self clean function on your oven?

    I clean My GE about twice a year, it works great, when thru i do windex the inside to clean off the ash/residue and it sparkles like new.

    I tried Kirkland detergent, once I ended up in the doctors office with a terrible rash from head to toe, had to get a shot to get rid of it, never again.

    Maytag A105 - NEW IN BOX!

    Its a Maytag Id run away real fast!! Unless you are going to put it on a perfectly level cement floor, it will walk all over, at least every one of the 6 Maytags i had did!!! Id as soon wash on a washboard.

    I for one! Am not too stupid, I just do not want or need everything to be fast, No thank you, ill stick to a normal stove, The very best things in your museum kitchen are that gas Caloric wall oven and that Hotpoint with the fold down units, I wouldnt trade that for anything ive ever used...

    Roanoke Is actually a very nice city, some really beautiful old homes, Its about a 2 hour drive from me, ive been to many great estate sales there and a couple of AW folks live there.

    Once a week, Wash in hot water with a cap full of clorox, and dry on high heat mattress gets vacuumed every week as well as pillows
