Persil Detergent now available at Shaws/Star Market

Saw Persil in the Fall River, Ma Shaw's for $7.99. All they had was original and the scented version. I'm headed to Wal Mart tomorrow so I'll check the price there

    Modern GE Dishwashers, Good?

Dustin92 I say the same thing about my Maytag from 1998/99. My dishes take at least an hour after the dry cycle for me to touch them. They are broiling hot!

    KDC-60A

I have to say that aside from one rust spot inside from a cookie sheet the racks, tub, and spray arms are pristine. kenmoreguy89 I have no idea where the leak came from. I started the dishwasher and when I came back it was on the dry cycle and there was water everywhere. For the life of me I...

I seriously considered selling my Kitchen Aid portable after it developed a leak, but now am having second thoughts since I ran it yesterday and the floor stayed dry. I called a repair shop near me to get a quote on what it would cost to check out this beast.

Dishwasher Detergent Test - Phosphated vs Regular

I know this an older post but something happened last night. I have been using Fryer Boil Out for a few months in my 1998/1999 Maytag Jetclean and have been loving the way my dishes and pots look. But yesterday I used a Cascade Platinum sample that I got in the mail a few months back just for...

Which dishwasher detergent do you guys use?

Cheryl I had to order it at a restaurant supply store. It does have phosphates and I believe it is 7%. I'm at work so I can check for sure when I get home

    Unscientific Sink Survey

Double bowl stainless with equal size bowls. Left one has the garbage disposal. The right bowl is only used for holding dirty dishes waiting for the dishwasher. I use the left bowl for pretty much everything....food prep, rinsing, washing my hands. My kitchen is a galley with the sink at the...

Member's Mark Ultimate Clean Dishwasher Pacs: Top Notch!

After a month of use I really like Fryer Boil Out. There is a noticeable difference in my glasses, stainless steel pots, and silverware. Also none of my Tupperware has that powdery feel to it. It's a keeper for me.

Member's Mark Ultimate Clean Dishwasher Pacs: Top Notch!

Load number 2 contained a cookie sheet that roasted bacon, a pie plate with the same mess, a stainless steel dutch oven that had cooked on pasta and parmesan, and a few wine glasses. Every trace of food and baked on soil is gone. The last time I made bacon in the oven I used a Finish Powerball...

    Wanted: KitchenAid KDS-58 Superba

I'm trying my hardest to not buy a new one either. I'd prefer an excellent vintage dishwasher to hit my neighborhood

Member's Mark Ultimate Clean Dishwasher Pacs: Top Notch!

Not bad overall but it wasn't really a tough load. I will say that my Corning Ware white baking dish and the few glasses that were in the load do look a bit shinier. This load was mainly coffee mugs, a few plates and some bowls. I only ran the dishwasher because I was out of spoons. This weekend...
