    The Laundry Alternative Poseidon folds?

Exactly. And it's funny how such small pedestal can make a huge dimentional difference.

    The Laundry Alternative Poseidon folds?

It "folds" but its not flexible at all. The "folding" feature is the base of the washer that can be placed in the tub for shipping or storage. With that, we save a lot of the volume. Also, the washer can be used without the pedestal, keeping the height convenient for handicapped (wheelchair)...

The Laundry Alternative - unable to be reached…?

I work at The Laundry Alternative. I'm sorry for the huge delay. The company has an internal rule that only the CEO and the product design director (that's me) reply to customer messages. I had a surgery last Sunday after a whole week struggling with a growing pain. I take full...

    Niagra Portable Washer

Yep, the new washer is coming really soon and it's called Poseidon. It has a real agitator (not an impeller with a corkscrew-like auger), you can fill it with water up to the top and it's as close as possible to a maytag wringer, given the modern world limitations. I wish I could have made it...

    New addition: Thermomix

Luis, congrats for your new toy that is definitely much more than a toy. I had the exact same model about 15 years ago. My only regret was not using it much more. The uses I had ended up in perfection. Nope, that's not an "Electrolux Assistent with heat" actually, decades ago there was a...

    Stoves for my house

The reasons why you don't see those stoves anymore.... Well, you're about to see them back in approximately 3-4 years as I'm working on a project to "improve" a Flair design and"upcycle" the concept applying it to tiny apartment. The internal project name is called "Flair", not so...

Dishwasher Draining - Pros/Cons of direct vs via disposal?

I'm the opposite.... I can't live at all without a good disposer. My life is dreadful with the cheap ISE Badger (I call it ISE Clogger) but that's what we have as a rental unit.. Until the day I get really pissed off and decide to buy an ISE Evolution Excell.

    Advice with coffee/tea stains

Cascade or Finish doesn't completely remove coffee stains here Cascade fryer boil out removes everything. I don't care if it has or not one or other ingredient. the only thing I care is that Fryer boil out works beautifully and the others don't.

"Wish the resolution was a bit higher to determine....&# That Radarange is different than mine as it does NOT have that safety latch that mine has.

    Kitchen disaster

I've never, ever failed so miserably in the kitchen like today. After several days planning the "menu", today I decided to make some "Swiss potatoes" (which is nothing more than "wannabe fancy" hashbrowns. Breville Peel and Dice was the ONLY thing that worked right. Anything else did...

I need some help identifying a vintage song

Well, I liked the song a lot... Then I started looking for other versions. I liked the Joe Cocker "remake" better than the original.

    Looking to re-home some portables

I have the same GE, but mine is a bit older and it's a "Hotpoint". 2 water level, 3 temperatures. The wash action looks mediocre but it actually does an excellent job cleaning the clothes. I wonder what are the other cycles... when I zoomed in, it was kinda blur. I could see it has a...

I need some help identifying a vintage song

Folks, this afternoon I'm watching Die Hard and I listened to this song right on the very beginning of the movie. I tried to use SoundHound to identify it but the app couldn't recognize the song. Does anybody know the name or who sings it in a way that I can find the song online? I've filmed...

FREE Frigidaire range and fridge circa 1974. Brown

As I said, I could... and host them... not for myself because I have no room for it. I just got a Flair that will have to wait for months until I can actually use it.

FREE Frigidaire range and fridge circa 1974. Brown

If anybody needs, I can host them temporarily. But I don't have how to pick them up. It's nor absurdly far from me, maybe 20-30 miles but they'd definitely not fit in a Prius. Other option is you pay the U-haul and then I can go there and pick them up. I can host those appliances for about a...
