You don't see too many with that console in black, unless it is on a black or brown machine. Mostly the white models had white consoles.

It's a 1968 model 700. I have seen a POD with a model almost exactly like this that has the Canadian style cabinet, so I would say there was a version of this model sold in Canada.

Definitely an A206, the model I grew up with. The black agitator and the non-shiny trim around the console gives it away.

The model number indicates the dryer is a 1968 model, so it must have been manufactured during the last quarter of 1967.

Nice dryer find, and it looks like it's in excellent condition. This is actually a 1971 model, the last year of the metal handles.
