Scott, the trivet is a separate, unrelated piece; I have two of them. Once, at a friend's office, I saw the 11X15 or so cornflower "counter saver" and was sorely tempted to abscond with it! I've never been able to find the official black plastic trivet that goes under the Electromatic. But...
