1970 Eatons (Canada) Summer Sale

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

There are still a lot of Viking appliances still running. I often see them in the paper for sale. Too bad about Eatons, one classy store that had stuff that would last.

Thanks for sharing these great pictures! Those are handsome blenders, and very powerful. I had a bike very similar to that one. I don't think I've ever had a date, in front of an open refrigerator (LOL) but that might be a new idea for sometime.

Hopefully Toggle can find a set of Toggleswitch Twin Titans for his collection!!

Thanks for the pictures, Pete. That "rangette" looks interesting.
I just got the Eaton's '69 Christmas catalog. It has remarkably few appliances in it.
Oh, and Pete--Best. Avatar. Ever.

The kid at the opposite end of our block had a Schwinn 3 speed like the Stinger in post #370207. Same color too. Doug thought he was such hot s**t. He moved away in the summer of 1980. I wonder where the idiot is now?

Boy look at that automatic washer, its not a GE made Viking, its a Franklin made Viking. It the Canadian version of the Pig!!!

I wonder if all earlier Viking machines were Franklin design. What about Viking washers in the 50's????

I'll never forget years ago when I lived in NY and I was on one of my many trips to Montreal when I met this nice guy in a club who invited me back to his apartment for "a drink" ;). But anyways, in his kitchen was a mid 70s Viking washer, I couldn't wait for him to go to the bathroom so I could take a quick peek at it, I'd never seen a Viking before! LOL.
