    new toy ;)

chestermikeuk, what`s the reason for why your buddy gave up using the 1800rpm spin? I stopped using it as well, because it`s LOUD and unbalanced as hell and that`s also the reason why it never stayed on its place. But mine started creating a terrible noise and so I think that it won`t stay for...

    Is'nt this a shame?!

I love those wascators, they´re great! I washed with a similar professional machine with a Zanussi label when I was 8 years old, they´re fast and do a great job...and they perform excellent sudslocks. LOL I saw a Miele Primavera washing machine on the street yesterday, it´s about 8 years old and...

    Vernel fabric softener

I hate the "blue sky" version! But I get VerNel very cheap, most of time it costs me 0.88€ up to 1.39€

FL washer with a 2000 RPM spin speed?!?!?!?!?!!

to the 1800 rpm AEG has and is rarly used by users because That´s right. I have the AEG washer you´re talking about and it´s quite noisy when the final spin is unbalanced. When bedding is washed in it, it´s walking away because of the vibrations. Here´s a vid:

    Vernel fabric softener

I use Vernel fabric softener as well and I also have the Peach version which I really like. 1/2 cup should be enough for 11 lbs. but I prefer using only 1/4 cup because I´m using an electric tumbledryer. But I like Gain Ultra most..never had a better smelling softener!

AEG OKO Lavamat 72640 went bang and stopped working

Glad your Lavamat is running again. If it will happen on my AEG Lavamat, I´ll remeber what you told me. LOL. I´m having mine for 4 years and it´s still going strong even when I do up to 14 loads a week with it. Mine used to be very loud while spinning too and so I assumed it has a drum bearing...

Euro wash times vs. US wash times...

Euro washtimes are way too long!! I hate european washers, they seem to wash endless. My AEG needs up to 2:23 h for a boilwash and 30° normal cycle needs 1:54h! mainwash is about 1 hour. But I prefer using the short wash cycle in order to save time and to protect and care my washing. 30 min...

    Keeping a dishwasher clean

In Germany it´s very common to use dishwasher cleaner. Almost every household having a dishwasher used them. I also used to use them, but since I took a look on the ingredients, I don´t use them anymore. I think that normal dishwashing detergent can do a better job because it contains a lot more...

DW Auto programmes : do they always work ?

If your dishwasher, Rolls, uses both washarms all the time, without *reduce time*, so the water consumption will not be much higher. My dishwasher also has VarioSpeed using both washarms, when VarioSpeed is selected. When not, it just alternates and only one is running, while the other is...

DW Auto programmes : do they always work ?

I preferer finish/calgonit rinse aid. I prefer its viscosity and I think, it does a better job. But just one more thing I wanted to say about the auto programme: If I think it´s necessary to prerinse a load, I always selcet prerinse first and after that the auto programme. But I only do this...

DW Auto programmes : do they always work ?

favorit Yes, my AEG favorite really was a nightmare. I always thought that i´d have a good dishwasher and I always was more or less pleased with the results! But most of time, I only put in plates, glasses and other lightly soiled dishes. Pots &pans have nearly always been washed in the sink...

DW Auto programmes : do they always work ?

My new Bosch TOL DW also has a auto 55-65° programme. When I´m starting the dishwaser with the auto programme, the display says that it will take 2:26 - 2:30 h till it´s done.. But most of the time it cuts the prewash, and shortens the cycle for 50-60 minutes. I don´t know at which...

By the Way: I Got a New Dryer

Firstable, thanks for all your replies. The "drawer" is needed for the water that is coming from the wet washing. It is very common here to have condenser dryers since most houses don´t have the opportunity to operate a vented dryer. The door is made out of plastic and glass. The inside is...
