    My guess is a Westinghouse top-load washer, clues are the lid lock, reversible motor, and the Q before part number, often used on older WH part numbers.

    Tide washing machine cleaner

    My 2001 WP Duet, I have never cleaned or even wiped the boot off, and the washer is as clean as when it left the factory. I do use mostly hot washes and good powder detergent, and almost always some fabric softener. If your washer gets dirty when you use it, your clothes are not getting clean!

    Left-hand threads--- are clockwise to loosen, counter-clockwise to tighten. And don't forget to remove the locking set screw in the tub mounting stem before removing.

    Most likely it has bad gas valve coils. They will often work from a cold start, but stop working as soon as they warm up some.
