Good cologne in tiny amounts + dryer heat = something wonderful. Bad and/or too much cologne + dryer heat = yikes.

I've known about the spritz of cologne on a dryer sheet trick since college. :) The nice thing about doing it yourself is having control over the scent, and amount of it. I've never run into locktite on this adjustment nut in SQ washers. Or if it's present, it's not enough to hinder movement of the screw. Totally agree with the idea of compiling SQ hacks and tips into one place. Would save lots of searching imo.

I'm not quite clear from the description/photos, are you saying the noise is caused by contact of the motor mount screw and this lever (circled in photo)? If so, I'm wondering if shaving a bit off the screw end would prevent the noise.
